Default b18c5 or b18c1 or b16a??

i have done research and i know i will be taking a loan out for the engine... if i get the b18c5 with the lsd tranny and no h/i/e just the engine. if i get the b18c1 i can get the lsd tranny and thats about it h/i/e. and if i get the b16a i can get the lsd tranny i/h/e and cams. what should i do and which set up would be good for the 1/4 mile?

i have a 95 civic hb cx on 16x7 the rest is stock for now.
and what would be my 1/4 for each of these set ups?

aslo i plan on getting a junkyard turbo latter on i think...

Go with the B18C5. You'll probably hit 13's, possibly high 12's on slicks. Oh and do a search this is covered several times daily.

Thats true. Why dont they take the time to actually answer the question, its much easier. I am sure your question may be the like the others but different.

ANSWER: It is all according to the planned modifications. If you are gonna buy it and slap it in then the C5 is the better choice of course. Best case for all stock parts is the c5 block and internals, with b16a head with cams. LSD is a must for 1/4 mi draggin on street tires.

If you want 1/4 then go H22 that would be the fattest with just bolt ons!

(Trying to get my posts up). Do a search

Best bet on this web sit= Read through existing information, then ask questions that you my still have from that information.

B16 (all motor) + 1/4 mile = Crap Load of money to get anywhere close to a 13.99. Which is still real slow.

B18c vs. B18c5

c5 if your going to stay all motor. h22 is a royal pain. fast. but nothing fits right. do your research because there are 3 different c5 swaps. us,jdm old,jdm new and the jdm r engine code is b18c, same as the non r engine
