b18c5 in 97 civic hx
im putting a b18c5(itr motor) in my civic hx and need to know the best ecu and wiring harness to use
if ne one can help please let me know

hmmmm i dont know man, can you even put a motor in an hx car?
i hear all these things about the civic HX in regards to the smog equipment, and different obd wiring and stuff. but ive never known anyone with hxs so hopefully someone here can provide information

Give me a week or so and ill have tech and install pics. Im only doing a JDM b18c but it should be nearly (if not) identical.

use the type-r ECU and a EX harness.
i don't know if the HX harness will work.
i don't know if the HX harness will work.
this should work perfect. if you have a 96-98 r computer, use 96-98 ex wire harness. all you have to do is add knock sensor. and mod the iat wire to reach the iat sensor on the r manifold. its a brezze.
