I just did a 97 JDM B18C-GSR into an 00 Civic Ex, so almost the same thing. Which harness are you using? Hopefully it's the Civic harness since it requires the least modification. Which plugs are you stuck on?

Re: (sicones)
Sounds like the guy using it before was using it in a 96-98, which I think is way different than the 99-00. Not only is there less/more pins but the pinout is different... I could be wrong but that's something I was told to look out for when I did my swap.

Incorrect. 96-98 = 99-00 in terms of # of pins. They're just in different positions. That's why an OBD2b -> OBD2a conversion harness (or vice versa) has a 1:1 mapping of pins.
Edit: For thoroughness, the conversion harnesses are 99% 1:1. There is one 2:1 mapping for the Civic/Integra fuel pump pin difference (one pin off).

Correct. At least not if you're intending for it to be plug-n-play.

That's a pic of my predicament before. The 9 pin was from the distributor and the 10 (8+2) was from the harness.
Essentially, you have to depin the dist clip from the Integra harness and use it on your Civic harness. Depin both the 8 pin plug and the 2 pin plug on the Civic harness and color match them into the Integra plug. The black on the 2 pin Civic clip is a second ground that you won't need - tape it up and leave it. You should then be good to go.
