B18c1 swap ?'s
I have a obd II gsr swap that I'm putting in my ej equipped with a d15b7.Besides making the exhaust a bit longer so it will fit and the ac bracket. What else should I prepare for?Is the wiring going to be simple?
I have searched and the threads that I came across were not very discreptive in the subjects above, any input would be great thanks.

yep, its simple as plug n play and add wires for vtec and if you want to run a p30 or p72 ecu then you have to add wires for knock sensor.

o, and for the header if you keep the gsr header then extend your piping and if you want to keep the one in your car right now then get a b16 header and it will bolt right up to your piping right now, and maybe you might need to make space for the down pipe at the oil pan

Is the ECU OBDIIa or OBDIIb? If your P72 is OBDIIb, you'll have to deal with the immobilizer, and your car won't start with it.

Holy crap this is making my head hurt.
Here read this and then come back and post any questions:

I know that link covers the ITR swap, but the GS-R is very much the same.
I'd use a 96-01 Integra engine harness as suggested in the link - this way you keep the newer Integra injectors, distributor, alternator, etc. From there you'd need to wire in the IAB and the VTEC, and a knock sensor and then also run an OBD1 94-95 Integra GS-R P72 ECU.

You're in GA - me too.
Why don't you PM me your number and I'll call you as I have done this swap before and know all the little details that people always forget to post, and then it ruins your weekend when you find undocumented problems.

No. He'd hate you once he wasted his money on a header that won't even clear the freaking block man. Please stop posting misinformation. I know you're trying to help, but that right there would have really screwed up his weekend.
The B16A header is too short and it won't even clear the 7mm taller 1.8L block so there goes that idea.
The header you want to make it 100% bolt-on is a header made for an Integra Type R. A good old DC Sports with the standard collector (not the "JDM 2.5'' one) will fit 100% and bolt right up to your convertor. the only issue you'll have is that the o2 sensor wiring must be extended if you're trying to use your civic harness - if you run the Integra harness as suggested then the plug routes perfectl to locate the o2 sensor in the header downpipe.
Like I said I've done this swap many times. You will hate the people who cost you time and money because of their incorrect "help" being posted.

BTW sorry for whoring it up, but you have PM - check them. I gave you my shop number, and I'll only be here for 45 minutes longer.
See I have been working at this Honda/Acura only shop for 8 years so I've done a few of these exact same swaps.
