b18c1 swap into 92 cx ?'s
Well as you all know the search feature isnt working right now and i hate to ask these questions but it's my only choice right now. Here are some of the ghey questions that i need answers too.
1. Im getting the motor out of a 98 teg...will the mounts and linkages from the teg work with my 92 cx hatch?....or will i HAVE to order aftermarkter?
2. Also will my fuel pump be able to supply the fuel for the new engine?
That's all i can really think of at the moment. Once again i apologize for these types of questions but the search isnt working still. Also any help or tips on the swap would be benificial to me. It's goin in the car in a matter of a few weeks
Thanks to all that can help
Andrew

mounts and linkage work
it would be a good idea to get a teg fuel pump as well

1. you can use the mounts, brackets, and shift linkage from the integra. it should all drop rite in. you mite want to assess the mounts for tears and fatigue tho and get a set of motor mount inserts from ES, Prothane, or both. also the mount on the ac bracket mite not fit because the cx has a piece of metal welded there, which will prevent you from mounting them flush. i ended up using the one from the civic for that one.
2. the stock pump should hold up until you really start getting into more of the mods. i/h/e then you will probably need to upgrade to an aftermarket one.
also make sure you get the wiring harness for which ever ecu you decide on.
hth.
peace

1. The integra axles should work correct?
2. What all will have to be done to go from obd2 to obd1? Thanks again

no need to change from OBD2 to one. just use the integra engone harness and connect it to your civic harness at the strut tower. then run a chipped p28 if you decide to use a skunk2 manifold.

From there all you have to wire up is the knock sensor and the secondary butterfly ****.
