B18c1 Motor In 96 Ek Cx
Hey guys, I have a question, doing a swap tomorow, a 2000 b18c1 motor into a 1996 honda civic cx, and the question is for the ECU what ECU can we use to make the car work?... because the stock 2000 gsr ECU wont work... so I herd I need some type of chiped ECU to make the vtec work and etc... this car is OBD 2 so please let me know a.s.a.p.

well.. if the ECU is USDM the car wont even start or plug in for that matter because you are using a OBD2b ECU on a OBD2a car.. you need a jumper harness and you need to remove the Immobilizer from your ECU. or you can PM Andres-eh2 because he has a OBD2a JDM GSR ECU that will work for you.
