b18c1/gsr tranny - questions about the clutch fork
I just got a new gsr tranny, but needed a clutch fork. I bought a clutch fork from acura dealership, and all i got was the solid metal piece. Is there also supposed to be some sort of spring or something that attached to this fork and the metal **** on the tranyn that keeps it from popping off? Or is the single metal piece of the clutch fork enough for the tranny to work properly?
thanks

No, there should be a little retainer inside of the fork that keeps it from coming loose inside the transmission.

Gotta be a little more specific. Listing part numbers and showing pics would be great. Or at least a MS Paint drawing.
The clutch fork pivots on a ball and there's a V shaped clip thing that goes in the fork. It's pretty straight forward.

i like the weld answer.

theres a spring like piece that kinda pinch holds it on... it doesnt hold it on very good but once everything else is in place and the tranny is installed its all it needs
