B18C vs b18b in your four door?
Anyone here been in a 4dr eg or ek after a b18c swap and noticed a big difference? I have been planning on a b18c swap over the summer, and just getting a new turbo manifold and moving my whole turbo setup over. What do you guys think? Is the b18c worth the extra money over a b18b? I don't really know how much the extra weight of the 4dr affects the swap efficiency. Just let me have some of your thoughts. Thanks.

my 93 dx w/ c1 i/h/e - 14.8 but terrible tires so bad 60ft 2.35(always excuses lol)
friends 95 lx w/ c1 skunk2 IM/i/e - 14.6 w/ 2.3 60ft
friends 92 ex w/ ls-vtec i/h/e- 14.7
ive done plenty of reading on this... best bet is to go with dx chasis (2275lbs) - lx is like 100 lbs more and an Ex is just a boat, nearly 2600 pounds is all Eg chasis though.
times all couldve been better bc none of could seem to get good 60 fts. im going with a little junkyard turbo setup and some azenis this spring so im looking for high 13's. All from an 1100 car, 1500 motor, and 1000 turbo setup.

Yeah, I have a 98 lx.. I'd be going with the same tranny that the motor comes with I guess. I'd be doing a complete change over. Can't decide. I've been pretty stuck on b18c for a long time, but 3k is alot of damn money. I'm just making sure it's worth it before I put it in my EK sedan. As long as it runs like a 15 flat stock after the swap, I'm happy.

Re: B18C vs b18b in your four door? (Shocka1998LX)
I think that even with the extra 100 lbs over the DX, I can get rid of most of it by a CF hood, removing spare and jack, and some lightweight rims. Mmm b18c swap coming this summer. I Turbo b18c1. What are the differences between the trannies? How would one benefit me over the other? I'm going boosted.
