here are a few pics of my old setup. notice the tb lacking the vacuum port for the charcoal canister.before removing the throttle body my idle after car warmed up was around 8 to 900 rpm.. below 1000rpm for sure!!! smooth idle only a little above when warming up.

now here are the pics of new obd1 tb from a gsr..after installing idle was surging. so, i cleaned the fitv, removed, disassembled it, cleaned it with brake clean and re tightened everything and reinstalled it... still surging idle say from 1200 rpm to 2500 rpm.. after allowing the motor to warm up it still was surging.. i plugged the bottom hole inside the throttle body, it was drawing a little suction but not much- plugging it didnt do anything to the up and down idle.. when i plugged the hole on the top inside the tb the idle smoothed out and dropped to where it should be.. what does this mean i need to do next??
