And no, you can't use the JDM harness at all. It is a 2 piece type of connector that will not work in your Civic because your Civic uses a 1 piece style of design. You'll have to use your stock harness and add/extend wires.

Nope. You still have to use the Si T bracket.

You have 8 valves total in the gsr intake manifold. When your IAB are wired up, 4 valves are automatically closed off when you start the car (kinda like how your throttle body opens andn closes when you step on the gas pedal). However when you turn off the car, they all remain open (all 8 valves). As soon as you hit around 6,100rpms or so, the 4 valves open up and allows more air flow so you get more power.. the function of the IAB is to create low end torque for daily driving..

nothing happens to the Iab plug... if your using a p72(gsr) or p13(h22) ecu then it will look for an IAB sensor... however, you can unplug this and it will not affect performance as much and it wont give you a check engine light..

^^yeah get the skunk2 mani. saves you the trouble of wiring the IABS and the manifold design is way better. to me the stock GSR manifold is an eyesore
other than that the swap is easy cuz u have a D16Y8 harness

Heres another link where the iab is yellow #26: http://www.phearable.net/tech/wiring/wiring.96-98_2.jpg
*You dont even have to add IAB wires period if you dont want on the gsr manifold. If anything all 8 valves will automatically stay open thus you get a little bit more high end power but less torque.. (trust me I used to have a jdm gsr and I really couldnt tell a difference whether it was wired up or not.. or maybe I do? well according to my "butt dyno")
If you wanna see if your iab works, simply wire up an iab wire from the iab sensor to your ecu. Then have your friend start the car. Look on the right side of your manifold. You will see a gold looking Bell shaped piece that connects to your vacuum lines.. it will slowly move meaning you wired it up correctly. What it is doing is its closing the 4 valves like in this diagram: http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/1624/iabtb9.jpg
I also switched over to a skunk2 pro series intake manifold and the high end power was there.. so I thought it was worth it..
Heres a good link if you want to change your gsr manifold to a skunk2 :http://technet.ff-squad.com/how-to/sk2im/

No. You have an EK, you have to use a rear T bracket from a 99-00 Si. There is no way around it. A SOHC trans is different than a B series trans.

Re: b18C swap into EK question ASAP
you can use ALL of your RUBBER mounts on the B-Series motor. The only mounts you need to change are the upper driver's side mount (the one that had the 2 prongs sticking out of it.) the front transmission torque mount bracket and the rear "T" bracket. The front transmission torque mount bracket can be from any b-series hydraulic transmission.
