Default B18C Swap, Engine Prep

Current Setup:
1995 Del Sol
B16A, 5 Speed

I am going to order my GSR longblock from Hmotors tomorrow and needed help with a few things.
1. What engine prep would i have to do (if any) to the GSR motor before i swap it in. I've only rebuilt engines, never ordered them from online. I am pretty sure i'm going to replace my clutch and some hoses off the bat.
2. I heard that you have to add a wire to my B16 harness (knock sensor). Can anyone confirm this?

Any help is greatly appreciated

if it came with a B16 it will already have the knock snesor wired, what you will need to add is the wires for IAB

On an OBD1 computer, I believe that's correct.

It's different on OBD2a, and different again on OBD2b.

See this:

As far as preparing the engine for a good life, here is what i would do.....

- timing belt for sure!
- front & rear main seals
- new plugs
- upon inspection, maybe cap/rotor
- great time for a clutch/flywheel if you don't already have
