B18c sir-G or B18c-R.....is the type R worth spending the extra money ?????
want to buy a JDM b18C-Sir-G Motor just the Block, but wanted to know peoples opinion when it comes to money wise. what you guys think??? sir-G motor at HMO is going for 1699. i was told i can get the type R motor for 2600. worth the extra money to spend or should I save my money and get the Sir-G Block??????? like I said I want to see your opinions ??????

My SiR-G swap pulls pretty nicely with just intake and cat-back exhaust. Planning to get a 4-1 header as a xmas present for myself hehe...
Back to the point... the type r has a little more top end and revs a bit higher, torque is nearly as same as the sir-g. If you have the money, go with the type r but if not then the sir-g is quite sufficient.

Get the ITR engine right off the bat. You'll quickly spend the difference in price on bolt-ons for the GSR and still not have the power of the ITR engine.
