It's a difficult situation. Your car is OBD2B. To use an OBD2B USDM integra ECU, you'd have to have a key and key cylinder and antenna from that car.

I think you can use the JDM 00-01 SIR-G ECU. That shouldn't have the microchip key lockout.

You could also convert from OBD2B to OBD2A or OBD1. Then use either an OBD2A GSR/SIR-G ECU or use a OBD1 GSR ECU.

That's if you wanna play the stock ECU game. That's how I roll. If you wanted an aftermarket ECU, just get a chipped P28 and an OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness. It'll be around 250-300bucks.

You will have to switch back to your 00 Si ECU for emissions in any case.

Unless you get a 00-01 GSR/ITR ECU with the key and key cylinder and antenna.

Same problem I'm having. It would be ideal to use a P72 Ecu, but since 00-01 ( OBD2b ) USDM Integra Ecu's have immobolizers, we can't use them. Next best thing would be to use a stepdown harness and use either an OBD1 or OBD2 P72 Ecu. I have to use an OBD1, since I'm using a 95 GS-R swap and it doesn't have the CKF sensor.

Thanks guys for your input. I was thinking the stock P72 obd1 ecu with a harness. Would that work? Im a noob at this. What is a ckf sensor? Is that the sensor at the crank pulley that tells the crank position? If so I have that but the wire is cut and I don't know where it goes. Someone else did the swap and i am trying to get it to run right.

The CKF is used mostly to detect a misfire in OBD2 applications.

If you switch to OBD1, you wont need the CKF or attachment points anymore.

For an OBD1 switch, you need an OBD1 ECU and an OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness. It's just a plug n' play sandwich harness that goes between the ECU and the car's harness. It's so easy it's sleazy.

Be very careful with the conversion harness. They're delicate. NEVER pull on the wires. The pin connections are nowhere near as strong as OEM.

You wont pass emissions without an OBD2 ECU and CKF.

Thanks guys for the information on this stuff. I have no clue on what i needed because the car came with the swap and was not finished. I think I will do the obd1 p72 with a step down harness if that will work. If it don't I will try your other suggestions. Sorry about the two different threads. Im new to the forum thing and not sure how it all worked. Thanks again for all your ideas and suggestions
