B18B1: Need help designing my own custom exhaust header
Okay H-T, got a few questions. i was thinking of making my own exhaust header, but have a few problems. the first is how would i know what diameter the pipe has to be and the length. how can i found the length and the diameter to make the best power torque wise? any one have a math problem to do this i know there is one but not to sure how to do it. i need some clues lol I want to make it for the b18b1 and i know it matters about the CC/CI in each cylinder but i cant find out what to do next in finding length and diameter

You need to provide more info. about your motor
*engine specs
*compression ratio
*cams
Ls motor dont have that much compression and they lack of top end power, to be honest with you I would put some dc sports or knockoff 4-2-1 set up and have some fun.
The whole idea of a header is to increase the exhaust flow speed, to avoid pistons exhaust restriction between other pistons, tubing length and diameter could only be determine on your engine specs.
