b18b1 motor into a 99 civic si
I am looking to swap a b18b1 motor and tranny from a 94 integra to my 99 civic si. Is this a possible swap? Will i have to make any modifications? I have the entire target car, so i have a ll the parts from it if needed. Is there a swap guide for this senario anywhere?

Why? Build your engine and save the money. If you are going to drop another engine in the car do a B18C5. The B18B1 is the bottom feeder out of the Integra engines.

depending on if u want to run obd 2 a/b, getting a 96-00 civic non vtec engine harness is needed. you would also need all the driver side engine mounts and t bracket from a 99-00 civic si. dont know about the tranny mount tho never done a 96-00 civic swap yet lol.

And has about 15hp more than the B16. Drop the B16 head & trans on that LS and you got a B16 eater .
Even without the head, I'd take an LS with a GSR trans over a B16 any day.
Come to think of it...I'd take a regular LS over a B16a any day...
Driven both? The torque is pathetic on the B16a, much like a D16, if I'm driving a B series motor I want it to at least feel like I'm not driving a D without nailing 7k revs to make power.
EDIT:
@ OP:
Yeah, you can do it, gotta convert some plugs (ECU, alternator, injectors, distributor, and maybe a few other things) (just color match the ends on from a junkyard), you'll have to use an OBD-IIb to obd-I converter harness with an OBD-I ECU...not sure about the mounts, though, might have trouble with the driver's side & have to use a different mount, not sure.
It's a fairly straight forward swap.
