just look around on different sites or search the classifieds, theres bound to be something you want.As far a installing it is always cheaper to do it yourself but if you a re gonna take it to a shop search around and ask people about that shops reputation. As far a the engines b18 good torque and good for boost, b16 good hp not so good torgue, and vtec. If you have a set budget weigh the pros and cons of each and then decide.

Get an LS with a B16 or GSR tranny. Also you can get this for a hell of a lot cheaper than $2400.
To see a comparison of a B16 vs an LS click on the dyno comparison in my sig.

Yea, I got my b18b1 with a brand spanking new head and Comptech clutch for 1200, and that's after installation. So you may want to look into getting it done elsewhere.

dont buy that ls motor for two reasons, but this is just my opinion. one, that price seems waaaaaaay too high for an ls swap. you should be able to get an ls motor and brakes for half that price. second, if you go with a b16a2, you can always get an ls block for a couple hundred dollars and build an ls/vtec. you would have an ls block, a b16 tranny, b16 head, and vtec.
if you get the ls now and decide you want to go vtec later, then you would have to buy a vtec head and you would still be stuck with an ls intake manifold and an ls tranny, which sucks.

you can find B18A for $200 to $400; and a B16 tranny for $500 to $600, unless you are a cable tranny then you can get one for $200 to $300!
IMO a B16 is an overpriced piece of ****, but if want plans to build an LS/Vtec buying a B16 isn't a bad idea, b/c you can get an LS block for $100.

Only if you're a vegetable that doesn't know how to drive. Here's a TIP, don't just hammer it to WOT in first and expect it to hook.

gsr tranny is perfect for this imo. you can run a turbo wiht a .63 exhaust which will make a lil more power, and the trans is geared such that you will always be in or right on the edge of full boost when racing, and still not have too much traction trouble as oppossed to a b16 tranny
