B18B Swap A/T into 94 Honda Civic DX Hatch
i have a problem i have a B18b engine A/T... problems seems to be too big. i have a Honda Civic 94 hatchback DX. i have 2 different sets of mounts 1 B-series and one GSR B18B integra motor mounts and only one mount fits the transmission mount of the GSR set. Ive heard from alot of people that there is no mount kit for this set up or that i would need a GSR mount for the driver side and GSR female mount for the back and a custom mount for the transmission. i would really like to get some answers from some one who has an Auto Tranny in there Civic but there doesnt seem to be any. I also heard i could get a new fork for the driver side motor mount cause the GSR mount holes dont match up. i have pics if this would help. Any advice would help me out. thanks

B18A1 automatic transmission is so far as I know the only b-series automatic transmission that fits in a 5th gen chassis. Expect some wiring issues btw.

you will need to use an automatic LS ECU and then figure out how to wire up the TCM (transmission control module for the integra transmission. Other people have done it before, but most people never get the automatic transmission to shift right. Honestly it makes a lot more sense to swap in a 5 speed.

It won't hurt, the rev limiter will be lower though... it would be ok to run it till you was to get a manual ECU....

The things you are going to need for an auto to manual swap..
Hydro Manual Tranny.
Shift Linkages from a 1990-01 Integra, 93-95 B16 del sol, or 99-00 Civic Si
Half Shaft(Intermediate Shaft) and Axles for a 94-up Integra or 99-00 Civic Si..
Back L Tranny Mount for a 94-95 Integra or 93-95 B16 Del Sol..
There is a Top tranny mount that you can buy to bolt a manual tranny in a auto car.... Or you could cut the side bracket for the tranny and weld a manual one on there.. I would just get the mount

Don't forget the auto-to-manual trans mount, as the bolt hole is a little higher on the autos. I didn't understand this until I had the engine and trans halfway in!!
All the parts as stated above this post are needed.
Get an OBD-1 P75 (integra) ECU so that you can minimize wiring issues. I got mine off ebay.
I paid $400 for an LS manual trans you shouldn't have to pay more than that. =/
A set of manual pedals from a 92-95 civic
Clutch master and slave cylinders and clutch lines - you can go to a junkyard for these.
Manual B series starter
manual B flywheel
I used this tutorial for the whole swap:

I don't know if '90 - '93 integra works. Del Sol Vtec linkage definately doesn't. '94 - '01 Integra and '99 - '00 Civic Si definately do.

As far as the integra bracket goes all the way from '94 - '01 are the same and work fine. '94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec bracket also works (there were no Del Sol Vtecs in '93, only the S and Si)
To the OP an auto to manual swap is really not a big deal on a 5th gen civic. I've done the swap a couple of times. If you check the FAQs there are a couple of guides.

Re: B18B Swap A/T into 94 Honda Civic DX Hatch (94EG8)
sorry again on some misused stuff..
Like I said in the other thread, I don't usually deal with anything past 95.. and the 90-93 Linkages do work because I have a set of 92 Gsr linkages in my 93 hatch.
