Whenever I start it a white smoke comes from the header and then from the intake manifold. It'll overheat after 5 minutes of driving and there's a lot of white smoke coming from the exhaust. I think my valve seals might be burnt out, but I haven't pulled it apart yet to find out. Any other ideas of why my car would be doing this?

I have a JDM B18b, I know the compression rate is higher than the regular B18b1, Where can I get the right headgasket for my engine?

Sounds like you mixed up the coolant and vacuum lines.

If so, is there a diagram showing which hoses go where? I can find a write-up for a B18c1 swap, but nothing about the hoses.

You need to disclose what car, year, model and what yr the motor is.

95 EG hatch, I think the motor is a 94 JDM B18b, but I'm not 100% on that year.

I took some pics to give you guys a better idea....
All my other hoses are connected right except this one on the charcoal canister, I can't find a place for it, I'm not sure if I should block it off or connect it to another one?

These two hoses are blocked off, I'm not sure if I should leave em that way or connect them with something else? This one is connected to the thermostat housing.

And this one is connected to the block I believe

My intake doesn't have part #16, can I just connect that hose to another one with some vacuum tubing?

Can I just get the charcoal canister from an integra and do it like that?, I can't find anything about this online so any advice would be great. I have some universal T lines and everything to connect the hoses, I'm just not sure what goes where. Seriously though, ANY ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED!

So I plugged up the extra hose from the charcoal canister, but my car is still overheating. After further investigation the hose that is plugged coming from my thermostat housing (second picture) was steaming and dripping coolant. Does anyone have any idea what this hose goes to, or better yet if I can just connect it to another hose? Any advice would be GREAT!

It's the head gasket, when the car is cold open the radiator make sure its full

try to start it and see if air bubbles come out. White smoke = headgasket.

oohh you're right, jdm motors don't have one. i just took one off of my old motor and let it chill back there. did you look to see if you mixed up any vac lines with coolant lines?

Nah, all the lines are in place. I feel kinda dumb, one of the blocks for the hose wasn't tight enough and that's what was causing the overheating/smoking problem. I just capped the extra hose from the charcoal canister and so far no problems =D I'll probably just pick up an integra canister sometime this weekend.

In that picture...the big hose coming out of the housing towards the camera is the lower rad house, the top big hose goes the intake manifold right next to the 4th runner, the two big hoses below that go to the heater core, the little hose off to the right goes to the fitv through the joint pipe with the breather with the valve cover, then to the iacv. Behind all of the big hoses is the return from the iacv.
