Default B18B Swap into 2000 Ex

OK, my boss's car is amazingly slow. It's a 2000 Ex, im telling him that the best bang for the buck performance wise is an engine swap. exhaust/intake/bolt ons just wouldnt put as much power as a swap would.. soo i convinced him into one. The B18B is the LS Vtec right? Does anyone know where to get the motor from, also is the transmission compatible with his current transmission.

Also any headups when we do the swap? (i used the search but i suck at it)Thanks

The B18B is a non vtec dohc engine that makes 140hp. It will work in that car, but you are in the wrong forum. A 2000 Civic is known as an EK.

You want the GSR (B18C) or the Si (B16a) motor.
