you can use the wiring harness that you have off your civic motor, but you will need the ecu from an LS. and if you want obd1 you will need the jumper harness too. good luck on the swap its really easy!!

You will be able to utilize your current civic wiring harness. However the question lies in what year b18b ecu will you be using? There are two versions of OBD2. There is OBD2a(96-98) and OBD2b(99-01) Knowing that your car is a 96 honda civic...you are OBD2a. If your b18b ecu came from a 96-98 integra then the ECU will plug right up to your harness...but if you have a 99-01 integra ecu then you'll need an obd2a-->obd2b conversoin harness for it to be plug and play. However be aware that the 00-01 integra ECU comes with the immobilzer which will make it more complicated. Easiest route for you is to make sure you have a 96-98 b18b ecu so that it would be plug and play. Good Luck!!

and if your using your existing wiring harness, there are a few plugs that you have to cut and splice and extend. And some plugs you have to change actual plug.

huh?? Under what case would you have to do any of this? My swap was straight plug and play.

You are.
You'll need the upper "timing belt" mount, lower "AC" mount, front lower tranny mount, and the rear mount bracket (metal mount on the back of the motor) from the LS.

well, reading from your signature, Im guessing you used the EX harness. The DX harness is different.
