I know this isnt really tech. But I didnt really know where else to get an answer. I'm considering buying a 98 b18b w/ 33,XXX miles on it. He says its comming straight out of his 93 hatch, and ill be puting it into my 93 coupe. It'll come with wiring harness, axels, shiftlinkage, tranny, aftermarket header, but not intake( will come with intake manifold) and comes with a chipped ecu. All of this for 1.9k...How does this sound to you guys? I've read posts that some people get them for like 1.5k, but I figured since this has lower miles and aftermarket header(need to find out which kind) and chipped ecu it might be worth the 400 extra.

His name is Abe, he wants money in advance(he has a good excuse). I'm going to go to his house and test drive the car it is in right now. If all is good I plan on giving him the money and he'll come to me in 2 days with the b18b swap. So, I will know where he lives, so his chance of scamming me isnt to high. He sounds like a good guy and hopefully everything will go well. Also, How do I find out if this motor is legit? I could ask for the vin # but what do i do with it? Thanks

i'm the one selling him the motor. its a very clean motor coming out of my hatch and it has very low miles.

chipped ecu and focuz 4-2-1 header will come with the swap along with everything else needed to put in your car.

i'm selling cause i'm going to get a gsr swap and need to sell the ls swap before i get the gsr one.
