B18b ls vs. B18c gsr.. Chekk it chekk it 4 + info
I have a 93 civic si coupe with 320,000 on the current z6.
Pullin her out soon.
I live in canada, winters are very cold, affect turbo?
Type r seats, amr engineering coilovers, work bronze rims..
I have narrowed it down to two choices.
Option #1.
B18B LS($1,800)
Stock internals
550cc injectors
fuel pump
2.5" exhaust
peakboost turbo kit, 57 trim garrett
hondata s300, maybe s200
looking for 240-250whp
Opting #2.
B18C GSR ($3,000)
550cc injectors
fuel pump
full cat-back exhaust
s300, or s200
headers
intake manifold
cold air intake
considering the raise in price vs the ls, i wouldnt turbo this, or if so, not the first summer
dont really have a power goal
maybe 220whp? that might be too rich for the upgrades i listed
of course ill get it all tuned and ill go with 550cc's so i dont need to upgrade further on
let me know what YOU would do and what's better for what reasons

Well, I can tell you that you will need way more stuff to make the GSR put 220 whp down. For the price, looks like LS will be the way to go for you.
