B18b into an EM1
Searched and couldn't find too much due to the specifics that I am requesting.
My cousin has a 00 Si that was hit from the front a couple weeks ago, the motor was damaged.
He picked up a 95 LS for next to nothing.
He had a chipped p28 with an OBDI harness like everyone else...but now...
What ECU do we use? (thinking of going Hondata), can we retain the stock engine harness if we use a OBDII LS ecu - will it plug and play right up to the engine harness/OBD1 harness?
And after that one, what Hondata would be ideal, possibly boost in the near future.
Thanks.

Re: (JDMlyfestyle)
Sorry but it didn't help at all.
The EK years stopped short of the B18b years.
ECU: By far the easiest ecu to use in most situations is the p30 from the 96-97 Del sol Vtec. only a few modesl of the 99-00 civics need the 99-00 Si ECU. For more info see Elctrical Differences below. Chipped P28 can be used if a OBDII to OBDI harness is used. May not be smog legal in CA.
So...I use a p30?

Re: (Yeung)
just run obdII LS ecu. Or get a chip for that p28 with LS program. I got a obdI LS ecu for sale if you wonna buy it and use it with a harness. It's auto but it seems to be running fine in a 5spd d16z6. Only at warmup idle is kind of wrong. I could prolly chip it though.
