it depends on a lot of different things. what kinda condition is ur d series, his b series? what r u goals as far as power? r u paying for labor or doing it urself? there's a million different options. you have to be more specific to get a good answer

what kind of turbo kit are you building up. a cheapo junkyard kit or built good turbo setup?
are you gonna be doing everything ur self? I would have him do a compression and leakdown test on the motor and go from there. be sure to inspect everything and run the vin to double check if its been stolen.

I'd say great deal for you if you have @$1000 or less in the kit.

but a b18a ls engine is a low compress engine correct? i am not to much into the import group.... i had american cars before so i dont know to much about import trying to learn and look stuff up but better posting here because quicker respose than looking it up......

LS motor has low compression and awsome torque is you turbo that you will make good power. that motor with just a greddy kit stock mkes about ~170 whp and like ~150 torque. thats what i wanna do. i say do it.

if you need the engine and have the extra money for the swap i'd say it's a good deal for you if your planning on the b-series swap in the future, it would suck to sink money into another d series just to turn around and swap it out again for an engine you could be getting now.
