b18b good engine.?? help HT GUYS
i currently have a D-series in my honda civic dx 2dr coupe....
that's what 102 hp???
i have a turbo kit for a D series ... but it's not complete.. someone offered me a complete b18b(94integra) swap for my turbo kit......
this a good deal or what???? --- i dont know to much about a b18b
anything i should look for or something? i am going 2 check it out tomm...

it depends on a lot of different things. what kinda condition is ur d series, his b series? what r u goals as far as power? r u paying for labor or doing it urself? there's a million different options. you have to be more specific to get a good answer

what kind of turbo kit are you building up. a cheapo junkyard kit or built good turbo setup?
are you gonna be doing everything ur self? I would have him do a compression and leakdown test on the motor and go from there. be sure to inspect everything and run the vin to double check if its been stolen.

if its a incomplete d-series turbo kit for a complet ls swap i say do it but that could just be the talking but i think everyone here would back me on it for a good deal if its as good as you make it out to be

-power 200ish
my engine? from me shooting it stock with 75 shot i fked up a valve... it runs perfect but u can hear a lil shimmer in it.... not good at all.... i still can touch dad's lighting wayyy 2 quick....
but a b18a ls engine is a low compress engine correct? i am not to much into the import group.... i had american cars before so i dont know to much about import trying to learn and look stuff up but better posting here because quicker respose than looking it up......

LS motor has low compression and awsome torque is you turbo that you will make good power. that motor with just a greddy kit stock mkes about ~170 whp and like ~150 torque. thats what i wanna do. i say do it.

if you need the engine and have the extra money for the swap i'd say it's a good deal for you if your planning on the b-series swap in the future, it would suck to sink money into another d series just to turn around and swap it out again for an engine you could be getting now.
