question is:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif car starts rough and idles ok but wont rev over 2k. when reving over 2k it jus shuts off????? can some one help out a newbie??

no check engine light

check timing. seems like its choking. also look at the throttle cable. same thing happened to me with my LS swap some weeks ago.

Yes, check timing. also make sure you have good spark.
