also i forgot the trans im using is a 95 gsr trans does it make any difference

i was talking to a buddy and he said with gsr trans in the eg i can only use gsr axels the reason why im asking is that i have a set of b16 axels and i would like to use them. I am doing the swap this weekend so i want to know what will work so theres less probs with the swap.
