Re: b18a1 into 93 civic hatch (spcivic2004)
please learn how to use the search funtion. this is take from the first thread in the forum ( What swaps are available for my civic)
How in the hell you gonna use a SOHC tranny out of a CRX to fit a b18. if its a b series tranny from a CRX then we need to know if its hydro or cable .
if it is a cable tranny you will need to buy a cable to hydro conversion.
the p30 i would not recommend for the LS motor. i would recommend a p75 LS ECU. since you will get check engine lights and will not get the Full potential of the motor.
read this article it will answer everything u need to know.
92-95 EG & Del Sol with a 94-2000 Integra LS B18 Engine.
Transmission: These Engines come with Hydraulic clutch transmissions including Japanese or American market Y21, Y80, S80, AND S4C. Japanese or American market S1, J1, A1, Y1 or YS1 cable clutch transmission with Hasport cable conversion kit part # M92-CC can be used.
Mounts: A combination of stock and integra mounts can be used if a hydraulic B- series tranny is used. on some 96 and up engines you may need to change the bracket under the timing belt and on the rear of the engine for ones of the appropriate year.
ECU: p75 from a 94-95 Integra
Electrical Differences: CX and VX need to convert to 4 wire o2 sensor. All models modify stock harness to fit.
Axles: 90-93 integra axles, 94-up integra axles, 94-97 Del Sol Vtec axles, or 99-00 Civic Si Axles. Note the intermediate shaft seal in the left side of transmission is different for 90-93 Integra Axles. Depending on Axle transmission Combo, It may have to be changed. Hasport Part#: EGBAXCMP
Shift Linkage: 94-up Integra linkage for Civics. 94-97 Del Sol Vtec linkage for Del Sol
Upper Radiator Hose: 94-Up Integra LS
Lower Radiator Hose: 94 Del Sol Vtec
Throttle Cable: 94 Integra LS
Clutch Hydraulics: Stock
Air Conditioning: 94-95 Del Sol Vtec A/C bracket
Special instructions: Using OBD II Ecu requires involved wiring modifications. Generally if the ECU you choose does not use the same plugs as the stock ECU, an Adapter harness will cut down on alot of potential problems
Special Considerations: Nice motor, Smog Legal, and excellent base for turbo car. Smog Legal in CA
