ok here it goes ive searched and found many swap threads but none specific to me , so if there is one i missed dont blast me just post the link it would be highly appreciated.

im new to honda's/acura's always been pro domestic and of the opinion there was not a real car built after 1980, so im a newb in your world

i have a 2000 civ dx auto and a 92 acura integra gsr standard. The acura has a bad body and i blew up the d16y7 in the civic

im just asking for any help anybody can give in relation to parts i need to do the swap.........engine harness mods, interior harness mods or can i just buy an obd2 to obd 0/1 adapter harness ,, am i still gonna wanna look for a p28 chipped or a dif ecu , basically any help would be appreciated what would you do? and what is the best way to do this on a limited budget , basically gonna sell off parts from the teg . any help would be appreciated .

oh yeah and will my obd2 450cc injectors work in the b18

and last but not least i have a turbo kit that i bought for the d16 but im gonna install it after the swap , i checked the specifics on the d16 but clueless to the b18 ...how much boost can i run safely on stock internals and any advice on that also

thanx alot

Your best plan would be to sell the transmission out of the integra and buy a tranny from a '94 - '01 integra. The transmission you have isn't any good to you because it uses a cable clutch as opposed to the hydraulic clutches used on '92 - '00 civics and '94 - '01 integras. You will need to make a distributor, there is no 100% plug and play distributor for '99 - '00 CX/DX/EX civic B-series swaps, but heres the good news, you can use your original D-series CYP/CKP/TDC sensors in the B-series distributor case to make one. You will need an OBD2 alternator, or you will need to cut and splice an OBD1 plug on your wiring harness. you will also need to cut and splice on OBD1 injector clips. You will also need to wire Vtec.

The 92 GSR has a B17A1 OBD1.

It's pretty much identical to a B16A OBD1 swap in a OBD2B car. I have this same motor in my car right now and we needed to modify the distributor and alternator plugs to work with the car. Be sure to use the correct conversion harness. I recommend getting a RyWire OBD1 Conversion Engine Harness to make things 100 times easier unless you are good at wiring and reading wiring diagrams and cross referencing them. A chipped P28 is what I'm running and with the proper basemap you'll be golden. You'll need a B-Series Hydraulic transmission as well. I'm just backing what 94EG8 is saying. Look in the FAQ thread in this forum category as well as there are threads on OBD1 to OBD2B swaps.
