B18a swap owners....break an axle?
Hey guys, anybody that has swapped in the b18a motor into the 5th gen civic, have you guys ever snapped driver/passenger side axle?
we finished the swap got the car running and took it to a closed off road and started to go in first gear with a good launch and the passenger axle broke at the boot close to the tranny.
Any ideas? would this be more due to an older axle or the tranny not sitting properly?
The tranny is the stock b-series cable tranny that came with the b18a1, with the DA stock axles and intermediate shaft.

Intake and no cat...lol that's about it. Stock b18a motor with about 273XXX km pulled from a friends teg.
He did silicone his motor mount bushings to stiffen them up but that's about it.

Also just to note, the axle didn't actually break. The bearings inside the axle boot by the tranny popped out so the axle didn't snap in half or anything of that sort.

When I was looking for what parts we need I was told by numerous people that 90-93 axles will work but you do need the intermediate shaft.
Strange issue tho
