b18 swap code6(ECT) and code14(IACV) HELP

Default b18 swap code6(ECT) and code14(IACV) HELP

95 cx b18a1 swap
still have codes 6(ECT) and 14(IACV) after checking both the sensors and wiring
the plugs were swaped when i iniatially started the car but i have since then rewired them correctly. also the fan wont come on. this has me stumped, according to the manual it should be fine. help is greatly appreiated

how could you have those two plugs swapped if they're nowhere close to each other on the motor? or do u mean swapped but not with each other? as for your fan not coming on check to see if it works by jumping the fan switch plug on the thermostat housing, disconnect and brigde the two pins with a wire, if it comes on, change the switch.

they got switched when i redid my harness to tuck it

and the fan comes on when i jumpper the plug for th switch

you might have shorted out the sensors when you switched them, because if im not mistaken the iacv runs off 12v and the ect is only 5v.. if not then you should find a diagram to to test the wiring for those given sensors...

as for your fan, you said it comes on when you jump the plug for the switch, then i'd say your switch is bad, get a new one..

i replaced the ect sensor with one that tested good after i rewired, i did fry the first one

the iacv tested good and so did the voltage at the plugs
