b18 ls problems
Hi when i reassembling my motor back together. i didn't crush the head gasket properly and when i went to started the motor. i saw coolant leaking from my head gasket. and when i took the motor apart again i flooded block with coolant. so my pistons were covered with coolant. and my head got some coolant in it too. how do i repair this? or should i just buy a new b18b1 block? help me out guys.

Drain the oil, vacuum the coolant out of the cylinders with a shopvac or something and reassemble the motor with a new head gasket (properly) and call it a day. Run the car for a couple of hundred miles then change your oil.

Exactly, plus once you get the coolant out of each cylinder, you should apply some oil with a rag and rotate the engine over by hand to help spread the oil, keep your walls from rusting. At least thats what I have done in the past to keep rings and cylinder walls from rusting. Not knowing how long you plan on keeping it apart, that is.
