I have a 2000 b16a Si motor in my 92 eg . And the idle air control is bad so what idle air would work on it? Like would a b18 iacv work on it? Please help cause this is holding up the turbo kit That I am waitn to put on!!!!! Or whT if I block it off would I have to get a tune tht would get rid of it?

is your IACV 2-wire or 3-wire? if its obd2 like your motor then chances are its 3.

when looking for a replacement, they are interchangeable, just make sure the bolt pattern is the same. some have a narrow pattern but most are the wide version

It's the top one. But only one wire is coming out the connector...

well then thats your problem. you need to find the missing wire and get that corrected. mostly likely the IACV itself works fine. the wiring is screwed. one wire is power and the other goes to the ecu. check the ecu thread for a pinout.

im just gonna say this is my first honda. So i pulled the connector of and it onl;y had a provision for one wire. there was no other wire capable of coming out. so ap[perently it was the wrong connector yet 4 mechanics could not tell me anything. regardless i found a 2 wire connector the same laying down behind the engine. plugged it in ans no surging. i guess im gonna work on my own **** from now on.
