i have a gsr swapped hatch and i lined up with a jdm b16 swapped ef so it had 170hp and yet my driving wasnt to great yet i didnt pull him till 4th when he was bout a half car ahead of me before that.

I was looking at old posts of mine and i just had to reply to this, it made me laugh. I still have the civic, and im not married, i do not have kids, and i dont have a mini van, lol. I beat him, he couldnt drive, and my hatch went from a b16a to a b18b to a h22/h2b. been 7 years, and i still have her. in my opinion h22>b16a>b18b

People he is talking about a non vtec b18b engine.. Not a GSR b18c1 if you actually read. Anyways your b16a will win because the gearing is shorter and you obviously have more horsepower.. Whereas the LS may have more torque but longer gearing... anyways I feel that this thread will be shut down soon..

this is kinda funny, i have a ls in my 92 vx hatch and i know my motor is gifted cause i beat all my friends ls's but i only have i/h/e and a clutch and flywheel and a gsr trans and i have never been beat by a b16 and gsr's barely beat me.
