Re: b18 c5???? (ineedacar18)
specs for a b18c5 are:
CR: 10:6
HP:196
TQ:134
(all USDM. a c5 is USDM a b18c is JDM)
1.8 liter obviously.
what else do you need to know?

b18c5 is what came in the integra type-r's if you want a ball park range of 0-60, 1/4 mile time ... etc. you can check out the stats for a type-r integra of course the type-r is the lightest of all the integras stock so the numbers wont be dead on, but there could be basic mods done to your friends car already so there no say exactly. But the numbers put down by an ITR (Integra Type-R since your new to the game) should give you a picture.

Re: (ineedacar18)
if you got 10g's and you want and ITR motor, I'd say go with like an 92-95 hatch or coupe, get a JDM ITR from http://www.hmotorsonline.com and then go from there

1/4, with all motor you can go 11.xx.
If you want a 10 sec the car won't be much of a DD, but achievable.
If you want you can search the ITR forum.
Lots of info there regarding the type-R engine and the specs.

Dude, I see you live in Montebello. Just FYI, be prepared to spend another $1K to $2K to get the thing smog legal in CA. If you get a JDM engine which most of these places sell, you'll need to get like everything around the engine from a US motor, put it on, take it to a smog ref as many times as it takes to get it right, have it visually inspected, etc.
I'm building up an EJ1 coupe (94 Civic EX) so I'm pretty much doing what they're all recommending to you. I'm in the middle of upgrading the braking and doing some suspension work, but am debating about what engine to drop in. It looks like the easiest would be a 94-95 B18C1 from a 94-95 Integra GSR, because both the car and the engine are OBDI. I come from a non-computer controlled automotive background, so alot of this crap is new to me too. Just snoop around the forum, and you'll find all of the information you need. Alot of the guys on this forum know their **** and I've learned alot from reading their posts.
BTW, I used to live in Montebello also.

do this
in the lightest civic, with basic bolt ons, with a C5 you might be able to get into high 13s/low 14s
just drop a k20 in a hatch and run 13s all day.
