Icon7 B16B swap!

I just installed a 2000 B16B and am having one small problem with it right now. Vacuum port in the back of the intake? didn't have one on my B16A so i don't know where it goes, and if i plug it the car won't run at all! Never had a car that ran so well with a giant vacuum leak though. I'm hoping someone might have a CTR intake on a B16A that might be able to help me out. Or if anyone has done a full B16B swap and could give me some pointers that would be awesome too. I've ran into several problems, fixed most with ingenuity (i rigged it up like a mo fo). Runs well, trans is the best thing ever, just has a giant vacuum leak, and runs warmer then normal even without a t-stat. 230 seems really high, especially since i have an aluminum core rad.

Here's some pics, i circled the random vacuum port. the last one is kinda blurry, sorry cell phone camera sucks.

just put a plug from any hardware store ext... Same thing happened when I installed a Skunk2 Intake Manifold on my B16a, I had that problem. I used a rubber plug that I found home. It's never given me a problem EVERRR!

On why it will not start, that's weird.

I tried both those ideas already, but the car will just die. it won't idle or even attempt to run, it just dies. hmmm, maybe something else is wrong...?

When my b16b was in my 95 hatch i just pluged it and it ran fine. Now that i swapped it into my EK i dont know what to do with it. I tried to plug it and leave it open also. My car doesnt die but it searches for a idle. For now i have it unplugged it seems to run better than with it plugged.

I hope someone can help. Im having the same problem

I did some rewiring, my ect wasn't plugged in right, i had like four different plugs that could fit onto four different sensors, it took some research but i figured that was causing all the idle problems. now i can plug the vacuum port no problem. Now that its plugged in right vtec works and it idles much better. the damn thing screams now but it still heats up. it reaches about 220 now but takes a lot longer to get there. I think my head gasket is leaking coolant outside, that would cause the over heating, that is an easy fix too. just ordered the spoon .45mm gasket, arp head studs, greddy timing belt, honda B18c water pump, and a honda valve cover gasket. got a new six puck clutch and lightened fly coming tomorrow. i also have the 6SR hose kit on back order, boo. now the only problem I'll be having hopefully is with my iac, well at least i still have an iac code setting off my light. I'm going to try to clean it out and check the wiring on it. wish me luck... I'll keep ya updated.

That port is supposed to run to your evap then to your pcv can. The evap is that round black guy that sits behind the intake mani wont hurt to not run it

Does anyone know what axles to use with the B16b in a 92 hatch? i heard you have to use the 99-00 civic with abs, will that fit my hub? I'm using integra axles now and they are binding up extremely bad. I need help asap.

Axles should be the same I ran abs axles in all my cars with no issue. and yea the IAC valve wiring on of the wires need to be moved from one pin to another in the same plug cant remember exactly but that same thing happened on my cousins ek and my boy joels ek and once we did it his CTR motor ran hard as f*ck and no more CEL. hope this helps

Your I.M. valve connects to" Purge cut solenoid" it's a sensor and vaccum hose that goes to the evap canister.
