Default B16B stock in a del sol?

sup ht
im still diciding what engine to put in my EF. I was talkin to a friend and he told me usdm Del Sol VTEC b16s have b16b blocks stock. So If this was true I would get a cheap b16b block then do the ctr conversion. is this true?

Depends what type of racing you use it for. The B16B has the best rod ratio out of all the Honda motors. It generally is a waste of money, though.

True, they're hard to find (legitimate) for less than 4k, plus you could build something equivalent for 1/2 the price or less.

I recommend you buy an LS with LSD for you EF, i think you will be more than satisfied. EF's are seriously "light".
And as for a CTR conversion on your car, as in 98 CTR front-end on 89-91 (EF) (hatch?), where did you get this idea? It's ingenious, j/k not really. It wouldn't fit at all , and if you got it to fit somehow it would look ridiculous.

EGSIR said how am I sposed to do a CTR conversion. I replied the engine only. A 98 ctr front conversion would be an interesting experiment .

To sum it up some idiot told me that b16b blocks come in del sols.
