b16b, friend pulled wire off dizzy cap while running and then reconected it, wont start

Default b16b, friend pulled wire off dizzy cap while running and then reconected it, wont start

Yeah i know this is stupid as hell, my friend did as stated above and the car turns over but wont start. Does anyone have a clue what could of happened?

im think'n he broke the pin on the inside of the dizzy cap

how would i be able to tell if it has been broken off, when i removed the cap there we shavings in the cap.

Alright so the only issue would be my dizzy cap? becasue the inside of the cap doesnt seamed to be harmed but there are shavings

there is no damage to the inside pin of the Dizzy. Help please

pulling a wire off while running will no hurt your car... mechanics do it all the time.. replace the cap if it broke by just pulling a wire off it was going to break anyways.. they cheap.. replace the rotor too

you can hurt the coil when pulling a wire off the dizzy when its running.. id check for spark to be sure its not that..

actually it does mess your car up...it causes it to misfire and put raw fuel through the exhaust and raw gas ruins your catalyst...mechanics dont do that all the time, they temp disable componets by disconnecting fuel or spark to find a problem, well a real mechanic anyway...anywho

probably killed the coil, same thing happened to me once.

and if they dont they are only mechanics for a very short period of time

And that red dust inside your distributor cap is the bushing in the cage taking a ****.
