wiring would take a helms from both an ek civic which came with a b16b- and the helms for your own vehicle - the procedure of putting the motor into your chassis would depend on which chassis you have- for an eg- you will be fine with the b16 mounts- if not having them the integra mounts- some of your civic mounts will work fine- you will most likely need to extend alot of wires for a b16b seeing its out of a rhd car unless you are going to use that motors harness which in the long run might be harder - i would always say use the chassis you have harness imo - but thats all i can say for now cause im at work- ( SEARCH) and you will find more answers than posting here- once you are actually putting the motor in and have a specific question it will be must simpler to gather the individual answer rather than a millions questions rolled into one !

Hi there my name is Voutha ****
I have an eg sedan with a d16 in it and am wanting to drop in a b18c from a jdm sir-g. My friend Simon told me that this is a straight bolt on, is this true? He said that I can use the stock d-series gearbox as it will bolt up with the b-series. He also said that my stock sohc ecu would also work work as I just have to reset it and it will learn the fuel maps? retune it self? Oh and also whats this obd1 and obd2 **** ? do I need it or will my car be fast.
Can u help me please, im a real noob to honda and really want to swap my civic.

Hybrid Engine Swap Form on Honda-tech
Also go to Barns&Noble's and buy the book called Honda Engine Swaps or whatever. Its red, its about $25, and its a very good read convering all the different engines, cars and years. It will point out which engines you can swap into what cars and why or why not you should do that. It will also show there is a LOT that you need to do and pay attention to. It will answer most of your basic questions so you don't make enemys and have people yelling about "search".
PS: Read the FAQs and rules for these forms, your breaking a rule in the form and people get mad around here real quick.

obd - On Board Diagnostics
obd1 came in cars from 92-95
obd2a- came in cars from 96-98 typically for civics
obd2b-came in cars 99-00 for civics
no yours stock ecu will not work to run a b18c due to the secondaries . it will run the motor just not correctly -
you will need the complete b series change over

Re: (b204dr)
step one: SEARCH https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=131949
step two: find a dad, a grampa, an uncle, a buddy, whoever; someone that has done a motor swap on a car before.
step three: buy lots of beer and lock your help in the garage with you
step four: spin tires out the garage laughing maniacally at the top of your lungs

yea, porting and polishing is not something a n00b should try. definitely find a professional in your area
