I'm thinking about a stroker kit for my b16.. crower or jun.. whats the ups and downs? also, where do you buy it from?

anyone on here stroked there 1.6 to a 2.0? what's the differance in quarter mile times? how much horsepower can i expect...

waaaaaaaaaaay too much money.

sell your B16 bottom end and get a B18 or B20 bottom end.
plain and simple, cost effective also.

Depends on your total setup. Also, your goals.

You can make ~200whp\135tq with B20\VTEC, at the wheels. That's all-motor with all the bases pretty much covered (Tuning, Cams, Compression).

There's a few making 220+, but that's with alittle bit more expensive and radical setups.

Don't stroke your B16a...Pointless like said earlier.

Maybe 200whp, but like 115 Torque...Doubtful though.

You'd hafta rev through the stratosphere.

lisa kubo runs a 2.0 b16.

But that doesn't count.

I suggest find a gsr block and then just have a poor-mans(or womans) type r and that will be way more less likely to break.

oh boy. my buddy did a JUN stroker for his b16a3 a couple of months ago...the downside, JUN had his block for about 4-5 months. took forever. they shipped it off to Japan to do the block work, JUN USA did the rest. but it was damn worth the weight...dynoed, the car put down a little over 200hp and almost 200lbs of torque.

also, this 0wned his wallet.

Almost 200 lbs. of torque? Do you consider 120 almost 200.
The highest all motor torque I've seen was 190 and that was 2.45l b-series
