My advice is to read some of the links in the FAQ and not ask such vague and open ended questions with no real budget or goals ever mentioned. Seriously, this really is a tired question that you're asking. And when you call it a "game" people tend to not take you seriously.

We'll okay; i would like to make at least 300hp on this civic. Cost would have to be moderate; I am in not rush to get this project where I want it. But so far I want to fix all the suspension; bushings; tie rods; ball joints; springs and shocks. Then start performance parts. Anyone know what's a reliable brand to get for suspension?

300 is easy. Toss a Disco Potato on it with the right supporting mods, and you'll be there all day long.

"Moderate" isn't a number. It's actually a word, which is almost as far from a number as you can get.

Your suspension question is directly answered in the FAQ's sticky that grumble pointed you towards. You really should read it. No, seriously. Go read it.

honestly, if you're gonna rebuild or build a b16 engine: don't waste your time. it'll be expensive to go fast. keep it stock as a DD and invest in your suspension.

but who am i to judge your financial situation: if you have the money by all means build whatever you want. most importantly define your goals before buying parts!

Well im looking into keeping this my DD, but I want to pack a little punch. I want to try and hit the 250-300 mark. just to have a little more fun. as for Suspension wise, I am looking into going with Tien or Skunk2.

Everything you want to do has already been done. If you're going FI there's an FAQ and build threads. Same for NA. Start looking and reading.

250-300HP in any street driven B series means you'll need a supercharger or a turbo. But at that power level, you will be just fine on stock internals. You will want to buy quality parts and you will want to address auxillary things like your cooling system and your clutch. If you want it to keep running, you will need to do a lot of reading and you will need to not skimp on parts.

Or keep it NA and just enjoy it totally trouble free. Any idiot can own a NA Honda and have it last till the dinosaurs arise again and start using us for fuel in a cruel circle of energy conservation.

Why do you feel this engine needs a rebuild? Burning oil? misfiring? loss of compression? loud noises? Why?

Suspension suggestions require a TON of information to be a decent suggestion. You need to be more specific. If you read up on the links that these fools posted, then you can find out more info and come back with more specific questions. They also show the correct spelling for Tein. Since that was one of your front runners for suspension choice...it may be important info.

ther are 2 options for 300hp:

1. the notaracist suggestion

2. a b20 block (with your head ported) with stage 3 cams, valve springs, pistons, rods, CR 12,5:1, inlet manifold and bigger throttle, that would make about 290 with e85 fuel

IMO the (1) sould be easier and cheaper but you have to do your own market reserch to achieve best value for money results
