hi i am doing a 99 b16a2 swap into my 98 civic hatch dx. i am going to use my stock dx harness however i ran into some problems.

1) there is a harness coming out below the crank pulley which i think is the crank angle harness?? or something and its a 2 pin on the B but a 3 pin on the harness. PLUS the plug doesnt even reach so i think ima have to cut and rewire it longer. so how do i get this 3 pin plug to connect onto the motors 2 pin end

btw the wires that are coming out of the harness are
white/red blue/red brown/black

and the harness out of b16 is blue and white

2)i have an extra plug that comes from the harness which is also near the tps sensor. its a 2 pin that i have no idea where to plug it. the colors of the wires are red/yellow and green/black

there is one that is also near it. its the exact same plug type but it's coming from around the starter part of the harness. colors are black/yellow and blue/white.

i know that one of these plug into the fuel canister thingy but duno which one since they both are able to reach it. anyone know???

3) i have 2 extra plugs coming from the starter part of the harness as well. but these lie next to the radiator hoses and near the vtec selinoid. they are both same plug types but almost different color wires. both are 4 pin. white/red red/yellow black/yellow black/white and the other plug is white green/black black/yellow black/white. i cannot find where to plug these to.


someone help me ive been searching all over and when people say that the DX harness should plug right up... it doesnt... i know i need to still wire vtec but ill do that later. anyone/??
