B16A2 - Stalls when cold
Ok, so I've been seeing some strange behaviour coming from my engine ever since I had the valves adjusted because of idle problems (IACV, FITV and pretty much every sensor in the car has been checked and replaced when necessary).
The engine fires up with no fuss at all. The fast idle valve opens up and the revs stay around 1200RPM and as the car warms up the idle RPM drops as expected. However this whole process takes around 5 minutes and trying to move the car before it ends is impossible because it stalls like crazy. After the engine warms up, it gives me no problems at all. To sum it up, I'd like some advice on what could be the problem because going out in an emergency is absolutely impossible and I fear such scenario. |

Have you already checked/replaced the TPS? I would also take the intake off of the throttle body and move the cable back/forth, just to make sure the plate is working as it should and isn't doing any sort of sticking/seizing.

not sure but I think the cold idle\high idle should be closer to 1500 or a little higher, might just need to adjust your idle
