B16A2 with a P72 ECU
Hey peeps
I have a b16a2 in my car now but my harness was all wierd and the plugs didn't fit into the sir ecu...so everything had to be re-wired and im runnign a P72 (GSR) ecu obd-2... My question is that i heard that since im running a gsr ecu and not a sir, that it can fuck up my vtec and not engage it? Is this true? so far i haev no problems..been maybe 2-3 weeks Jebus |

It runs ok. I managed a 15.3 with a b16a2 with P72 ecu in an EK.
from 4400-5500 it pretty much sucks though. |
Re: B16A2 with a P72 ECU (nerces)
umm...... pretty damn sure the pinouts are different for some of the wires. it plugs in, but the pinouts are different. you can re-pin the plugs, but why? convert to OBD I and run a chipped P28
edit- and yes, it will run, but voltage signals are wrong coming from different sensors [Modified by 22lbGS-R, 11:31 PM 3/14/2003] |
