Likely it's the valve cover that's leaking

You can either power-wash the engine so you can see where the oil leak is originating on the clean/dry surfaces, or get an oil dye/black light kit. This is the best method to detect exactly where the oil is coming from.

I've seen a lot of unnecessary work done to fix leaks because they weren't tracked down correctly first.

this is your best advice. Go to Carquest/Autozone/Advanced Auto and get some oil dye and go get a black light from Home Depot if they don't already sell one at the auto store. Let the oil run in it for an hour or so and then check for the leak with the light.

If it's landing on the alternator, I would say it's coming from the driver's side rear somewhere.

Check your oil filter. It may not be tight enough, or damaged, or could be leaking from around there somewhere. That's the only thing back there that I can think of that could leak oil without a hole in the block.

I still think the valve cover is most likely, but if you say it's not leaking, I guess it's not.

mines too, but i cleaned the motor and the leak is coming from the side like where the cams are. the oil falls on the belts and throws it onto the alternator.the pic that i posted was 2 days after i cleaned the motor and the oil is falling behind the a/c compressor too. fml

pull your valve cover off and take a look at the seal behind the cam gear.
