jesus good *** times for a b16 most guys have trouble breaking into 14's let alone a 13.8 time. do u have cams and valvetrain in it???? a stock b16a2 in the 13s even on slicks seems hard to do but go for yours..

Wow, good times, the mph is revealing that you definately have the power to match your time. I know lots of GSR swapped cars struggling to break into 13's....
Youve definately got a strong (freaky) motor, and a good driver.
There's another person on this board who is doing the same with a b16....I think his user name is nsxmatt, he does high 13's on street tires with his b16 with very few bolt ons. You guys are definately not the norm, but its still interesting to see how much can be squeezed out of the b16.

Re: B16a2 nets me my Personal best 1/4 (Typesi2nv)
i just dont understand how a b16 hatch with stock internals and no NOS and no boost can run a 13.8. type r hatches have a nice time trying to get those times so haw does a little b16 do it? does it have something to do with elevation or where hes located? it boggles my mind. can some one explain to me how this happens? i mean if a stock b16 is capable of 13's then why are so many people sayin to go for b18c's or type r motors every person i know that has a b16 in their 92-95 hatch even gutted on baby slicks cant even break into the 13's and they are good drivers, so how is this guy doing it more than once?

I really have no explanation why my car is so fast. It boggles my mined as well. I don't live in a place where's there's super elevation on anything like that. The motor is just good and strong, it gets out of the hole in a hurry and nets me consistent 13-second passes. I have about 20 13.8 and 13.9 sec time slips now. My goal is to take this stock b16a2 into the 13.7 range and break out of the 96 mph trap speed; I think I have the potential to do it. I also had 3 perfect lights and almost all of my reaction times are under .700. That with 60FT times all around 1.95 or under nets me some kick *** 1/4 times.

Re: B16a2 nets me my Personal best 1/4 (blazinb16)
not bad times. I pesonally ran a 13.6 with a b16a first gen in my crx with drag radials.. Im running I/H/E ctr intake cam and usdm itr exhaust cam. Also using a vafc along with some venom injectors. But sold my exhaust cam and now selling my ctr intake cam..... Going turbo ls/vtec , motor is almost done and still waiting to choose a nice turbo kit.
I love turbos i currently am running a precision turbo t3/t4 model scm 52 in the 95 eclipse with first gen motor swap and loving it. After i get it all tuned out it should be in the mid 10's hopefully......Currently running dejohn tool fmic and intercooler piping with MAF translator and boosted to 17psi and pulls hard just cant get enough fuel , so need to upgrade injectors and finish hooking up dsmlink and hopefully get it all tuned out.

Re: B16a2 nets me my Personal best 1/4 (90crxzcgasd)
That's a nice set up. 13.6 is a wicked ET. I don't think that I will see those type of times in my hatch without some valve and head work. I'm running an Iceman Intake with the ram air insert, stock header with stock cams and stock injectors. I want to hit 13.7's on a stock block befor I swap in the cams...... as for the question about the LSD, it's built by cusco.

Are you running stock exhaust too, or just stock header? Wouldn't a header and better exhaust probably knock off atleast .1 or .2?

Re: B16a2 nets me my Personal best 1/4 (THE B)
I just got my digi cam back and thought I'd take a pic or two of the my time slips and the car (lots of hope for the b16's out there). I couldn't take pics at the track because my digi was gone so this is my car in the garage two days after the race. I hope it stops raining so I can wash the rubber and **** off..(BTW I'm really sorry about the size of the pics I have issues OK).....
and having some fun on the other honda
