Default B16A2 into a 94' Del Sol S, motor from a 92' Integra!!!WTF!!

The motor was swapped into a 92' Integra DA, I have a 94' Del Sol S. I need the run down on exactly everything that needs to be done the cheapest way. I know of course the mounts don't match so the mount combo would be nice, and I'm clueless on the wiring, other than it came out of an OBD1. I know the ECU from the Integra is chipped but idk if it's the original Integra ECU or the 00' Si ECU. there's no number on it soo if anyone knows another way to figure it out what do i do there?

You should be able to use the ECU...all you should wire in is VTEC...you'll need a different transmission beings the one in the integra is cable and the one for del sols in hydro. That also means that you may need to purchase a hydrolic clutch for it too. I believe the axles will work, but dont quote me...Hasport makes a mount kit that's good, or you can find some OEM mounts too...I'd go aftermarket personally...

Just remember doing a b series swap in a del sol it requires B series shiftlinkage From a Del Sol. Ie. the linkage off a b16a3

you can also get someone to make you shiftlinkage we have to fab some up for a b16 swap in a crx same its not that hard but its going to be a pain to find linkage for a b series del sol

ok, i could be wrong but last i checked all sols are already wired for vtec. also a b16 to my knowledge will be a straight drop into an S although id recommend new mounts anyway.

Nope...
If his sol has a d-series in it right now (which i assume it does, hence why he wants to swap it out) it will not be a straight drop in affair in terms of his stock motor mounts. His d-series is using a d-series rear motor mount and rear motor mount bracket (obviously.) The d-series motor mount bracket will not bolt up to the b-16, hence he will need a b-series rear motor mount bracket. The b-series rear motor mount bracket also will not fit the d-series rear motor mount, so he will have to get a delsol si vtec (with the b-16) rear motor mount and rear motor mount bracket, or the same two parts from a 94-01 integra or a 99-00 Civic SI. The rear motor mount and rear motor mount bracket need to be from 5-speed cars as well, automatic ones will not work.
