Default b16a2 intake manifold

will a new (type-r or skunk2 etc)intake minifold give me more power just by bolting it on? i know it would boost power but do i need to run increased fuel? wat about a bored throttle body, maybe a new intake cam? will the increased airflow make my car run bad if im only using stock ecu/settings?

I'm no expert, but I've been doing the research on this too. I was going to go with the ITR manifold, but people have said that they gained power up top, but lost some torque in the midrange/low end. I'm stumped.

i have a 99 si and i put an itr intake manifold and itr throttle body on and no you dont need to add any fuel to go with it the computer does all that on its own. i also have an itr ecu on mine but that is not needed for the intake.

No you do not need to make any fuel or throttle body up grades to bolt it on.

I dyno'd my car w/ the b16 intake manifold w/ mugen chipped p28 running pig rich, this is just with intake and stock exhaust @ 136whp/93.5tq and I also dyno'd my car w/ a b16 base map + more a/f, intake, itr intake manifold + throttle body and no exhaust just the b pipe @ 149.7whp/99.6tq, I'd say I'd gain a lot considering my mods but I'm going boost anyway, I'd say yes to the itr im/tb

What other mods do you have? Your car won't run bad by adding the ITR mani, but if you only have a few bolt ons, you're not going to see any gains with it.
