Check your timing it might be off and check all your grounds, make sure that they are sound and secure. HTH.

Here are some things to check.
1- make sure the ECU is plugged all the way in.
2- make sure the Dist is plugged in tight.
3- Check all the gray plugs at the shock towers make sure they're tight
4- Check the main ground strap (at tranny)
5- Check the ground strap at the valve cover.
6- Make sure the ECU fuse is not blown (far upper left hand corner under hood fuse box)
7- Check the plug wires, make sure they go 1-3-4-2
That's all I can think of right now.

it's in the underhood fuse box. if the ecu diagnosed that as a problem, the whole fuse box will have to be replaced because the eld is part of the underhood fuse box. maybe borrow a friend's for a little test so you'll know it's really that. i hope you get the hybrid running if you haven't already.

Re: b16a2 hybrid won't start (loturbohybrideg)
I did this swap into my 93 del Sol (D16Z6 SOHC VTEC original motor). I had to use an ITR engine harness - the del Sol harness would not work, and the new Civic Si harness was a joke!! That may be your problem.
What ECU are you using??
I can check on the ELD if you like......do you have a Helms manual??

ELD diagnostic....from Helms for 93 del Sol
You get a code 20, right??
Reset ECU.....
Start engine and idle. Turn on headlights.
Does CEL 20 come on??--------->NO...intermittent failure. Check loose connections at ECU and ELD (in fuse box under hood)
If yes, turn off ignition.
Remove under hood fuse box cover.
Disconnect the 3P connector from ELD (ELD should be the thing on the bottom left as you look from the hood of the car back).
Turn ignition on.
Measure voltage between BLK/YEL and BLK terminals
Is there battery voltage?--------->No, measure voltage between BLK/YEL and body ground. If there is, repair open in BLK wire between 3P connector and G201. If not, then repoare open in BLK/YEL between ACG (S) 15A and 3P connector.
If there is battery voltage between BLK/YEL and BLK terminals, measure voltage between GRN/RED and body ground.
Is there 4.0-5.0V? If no, repair short in GRN/RED between ECU (D10) and 3P connector. If yes, turn off ignition. Connect 3P connector to ELD. Connect test harness.....blah blah. I assume you don't have the test harness, so I'll stop there.
