Default B16A2 head & Type R block?

Long story short, got water in my engine through the stupid CAI and I think the rods and what not are gone. My buddy has a Type R block that he's going to give me. I want to know if I can mate a B16A2 head with the block?

Thanks.

You'll basically have a mini-R motor

B16 and ITR heads are the same cast, but you will lose the mild PnP, cams, valve train, and IM.
