any dohc vtec dizzys will work...compatible...no worries...unless they are broken then it won't work

yes they will fit.. the difference is b16a1 is an obd0 motor b16a2 is a od1-obd2 motor.. if your converting to obd1 and thats why ur asking the question.. yes it will bolt right up.. just need to buy a harness adapter or repin the plugs

Now I have a 98 civic ex 1.6L base model engine and bought a tec distributor. I do not know or can not tell what dizzy I had on last but the tec dizzy fits right on. Do I have the wrong dizzy though because it sounds like it is misfiring....Any help would be much loved.

did u get the firing order right?? how about checking it with a timing light??
